The North American Old Catholic Church is a catholic denomination in the worldwide, universal church of Jesus Christ.
Dedicated to "Fostering a continued, strong commitment to catholic tradition and the search for contemporary meaning," our parishes and ministries throughout the US reach out to and embrace all of God's Children. Our ministries are transparent - no one is turned away from learning about God's love and acceptance.

What's New In Our Church?

Congratulations to Father Joe Steward of Balitmore on his ordination to the priesthood! The event was held on Saturday, September 20th at St. Mark's UCC with many thanks to the Reverend Desiree Gold for hosting us once again.

We continue to grow! We have added three new parishes to our rolls - one in Balitmore, Maryland and two in California. Please visit our parishes page to find out more information.

We continue to grow! We now have twenty-one seminarians enrolled in our seminary!

Where is your Community

Our community is all around us! Our organized church activities occur in schools, prisons, nursing homes, and parishes. We are also involved in 'visible witness' work, where as individuals, we minister to people in our everyday lives.

Many of our clergy are 'bi-vocational,' meaning they hold down regular everyday jobs, just like you do. This allows our clergy to bring the presence of Christ to people where they live, work, and play.

About Our Activities

Each of our clergy, and each of our ministries are committed and engaged in their local community. They participate in social justice outreach, education, and sacramental ministries, giving special attention to those parts of society that are marginalized and ignored by other institutional churches: women, elderly, immigrants, homosexuals, homeless, and veterans.
